Pepe Jeans history is inseparably connected with Portobello Road in London. The unique atmosphere of Portobello Road inspired Nitin Shah, who decided to produce jeans with original tags, in 1973. The idea proved to be so good that the Shah brothers, Nitin, Arun and Milan, founded PEPE (UK) LTD company two years later. The expansion of Pepe Jeans began in 1983, first to Ireland and then to Continental Europe, United States and Asia. Today, Pepe Jeans is one of the most important jeans clothes brands in almost all European countries. Nowadays, there are over 70 shops in Europe. We plan to open new shops in Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. Although the interior design of every shop corresponds to the same aesthetics, it is always connected in some way to the place in which it is located.
Rich and carefully prepared Pepe Jeans collections set fashion trends. Pepe Jeans designers are of different nationalities and come from various cultures but there is one thing they have in common. They are inspired by London and by its unique charm, variety and warm atmosphere. Pepe Jeans clothes give you the exactly same feeling. Sense of time and style, courage to experiment and innovative materials and cuts are characteristic of them. Despite the fact that they are produced in different countries, they are always in agreement with the brands’ highest standards. Pepe Jeans clothes are divided to spring/summer and autumn/winter collections.
Pepe Jeans collections are created with people who like changes and value comfort and unique style in mind. They are created for students, young Professional and generation leaders who are interested in fashion, music, art and new trends in all spheres of culture.
